10.11.2021: Here’s an example of how time flies. In October 2011 the last “Randy & Spiff Morning Show” aired on Atlanta’s Greatest Hits 106.7. Thus ended an almost 23-year run of waking up and interacting with the greatest radio fans in Georgia. From Fox 97 to Cool 105.7 to 94.9 Lite FM to WGST to 106.7, it was a most amazing journey. A week after being “shown the door” at 106.7, we were inducted into the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame. To this day, officials at the Hall of Fame swear that our induction was due to a clerical error. A week after the Hall of Fame ceremony, we were seen at the exit ramp of I-75 and Windy Hill holding up a sign that read, “Will do morning radio for $250,000 each.” Thus, the reason why we never resurfaced again on Atlanta radio. Can’t believe it’s been ten years since we last cracked open the microphone and shouted, “Get your crack out the rack … it’s time to Rock’n Roll!” Thanks to all of our loyal listeners through the years for making our radio daze such an incredible and fun-filled ride. 284/365
