To others the sighting of a cardinal can be a sign of good luck and loyalty. Native American lore states if a cardinal is seen, it is believed that individual will have good luck within 12 days of the sighting. To Braves fans, Cardinals often bring despair and reminds them of how the "infield fly rule" can be a nightmare.
