I'll miss Skip pulling me aside and telling me a joke that was not politically correct ... I'll miss his sarcasm ... I'll miss his incredible behind-the-scene sport stories ... I'll miss his candor ... I'll miss hearing his voice call the Braves games. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

For so many years Skip was the reason I tuned into the Braves. Win or lose Skip made the game enjoyable. I'm sure his epitaph will read "So long ever'body".
One of the all time greats. You will be missed but never forgotten.
Tremendous sports announcer and personality.....gosh, we will miss him.....
