3.17.2021: Just in case older hummingbirds have to get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and decide they would like to have a snack as long as they are up ... we positioned our feeder so that a nearby streetlight would illuminate it. 76/365

3.16.2021: Red letter date at the new Stately Spiff Manor. In October we moved in … and today, we relocated enough boxes to the attic to get BOTH of our cars in the garage! Whooo-hoo. It’s a tight fit, because we still have several things to move out of the garage, but progress is being made. Probably would have been done earlier but I spend too much darn time hiking Kennesaw Mountain. 75/365

3.12.2021: Imagine my surprise stumbling across a time tunnel in downtown Kennesaw. After walking through it, I noticed I had traveled back to the year 2010. I didn't stay long as everything was in black and white. Apparently, some sort of time travel anomaly. 71/365

3.8.2021: Saw this couple enjoying each other’s company at Green Plantation, and thought of the song Janet sang to me at the altar almost 25 years ago. 67/365

We will be as one ...

3.2.2021: Legend has it that shortly after midnight giant rabbits roam the remote areas of Kennesaw Mountain. These fierce rabbits are often destructive and unlike Big Foot, have never been photographed. However, it you are lucky, you may stumble upon signs of these elusive creatures. 61/365

2.3.2021: You know you're going to have an iffy day when the first thing in the morning your frozen birdbath ... gives you the bird. 34/365

How this happens: These towers are caused when the surface of the of water freezes first, sealing in the water below. As freezing temperatures continue, and that not-yet frozen water trapped below begins to freeze, it expands, creating higher pressure under the ice lid. Eventually, the pressure will either cause a small crack or opening in the ice where water will start to dribble out -- sort of like squeezing a tube of toothpaste. However, as that water squeezes out to the surface, it freezes too, creating a small bump of ice on the surface. The pattern repeats and the "bump" grows taller and taller until all the water under the main sheet of ice has frozen. And what you have left is called an ice spike.

2.2.2021: It’s been over 30 hours since I had the 2ndCovid-19 vaccination. Minor soreness is gone and really no other side-effects of note. I did fall asleep in my massage chair for a couple hours today, but don’t read too much into that as I’ve done that before on numerous occasions before having any Covid shots. For a moment this afternoon I thought that the vaccination had given me time travel abilities when I spotted these two classic cars. Then I realized, they must be shooting another movie in our area. Oh, well. 33/365

2.1.2021: I was more excited about getting this sticker (for my second covid-19 vaccination) than I was when I got my "I Voted" sticker. 32/365

NOTE: (11:20 pm 2/1/21) 9 hours after receiving the vaccination, no side effects or symptoms to report. I can very slightly feel soreness at the injection site. I also should mention, I suddenly have the urge to binge watch Pauly Shore movies.
